The hotel was essentially in the basement, full of mold and peeling wallpaper, but the rooms were spotlessly clean, comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. It was not suitable for kids due to noisy hallways.
Rooms
8.0
Despite the initial impressions of being in the basement, the rooms surprised me with their spotless cleanliness and comfort. The breakfast was a definite highlight.
Service
9.0
The staff was super accommodating and friendly, which made up for the initial concerns about the mold and noise. They really went above and beyond to make my stay pleasant.
Location
7.0
The location was very convenient to the events and things I had planned, even though the neighborhood didn't seem ideal with auto garages. However, it turned out to be well connected and perfect for my needs.
Dining
7.0
The dining experience was good, with plenty of choices even though some items ran out occasionally. The homemade biscuits were a nice touch.
Facilities
7.0
The facilities were decent, and the overall value for money was reasonable considering the clean rooms and excellent breakfast.

7.2/10
The hotel offers clean and comfy rooms with surprisingly comfortable beds and a decent bathroom, although a bit small for a family of 4. The service was helpful, with staff making an effort to engage with guests. The location is convenient for public transportation and attractions, although it may be a downside for some IHG brand enthusiasts. The dining options were underwhelming, but the grab n go service was available with limited variety. Overall, a decent value for money stay with some minor drawbacks.

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were clean, but unfortunately, there were issues with the TV and phone not working. The odor in the room was quite unpleasant like bad feet smell. The staff seemed clueless when I reported the problems, making it the worst hotel experience for me. I won't be returning here and will be sharing my negative experience on social media. On a positive note, the hotel's cleanliness was commendable.
Rooms
5.0
The room cleanliness was satisfactory except for the unpleasant smell and malfunctioning TV and phone.
Service
5.0
The staff's unapologetic attitude and lack of prompt solutions to the room issues were disappointing. However, the person serving at the breakfast table was kind and responsive.
Location
5.0
The hotel's location next to the streets and the industrial surroundings were major drawbacks. Despite being close to a metro station, it was far from the vibrant Brooklyn areas.
Dining
6.0
The dining experience was just okay. The breakfast was early for my schedule, but at least it was filling enough to keep me going through most of the day.
Facilities
5.0
The single elevator not working was a significant inconvenience, and the industrial surroundings did not add to the hotel's appeal.

My stay at the hotel was quite satisfactory overall. The room was sufficient, although it lacked washcloths and the drying towels were stained. Being across from the elevator was a bit noisy at times, but manageable. The service was friendly and always willing to help, making it a pleasant experience. The location was convenient with easy subway access to Manhattan, a major plus. The dining options were adequate, though nothing extraordinary. The facilities met my basic needs, but nothing outstanding.

Upon arriving at the hotel, I found the location to be convenient with easy access to the Union St subway station, making it a breeze to get around Brooklyn. However, there was a noticeable foul odor throughout the property, which was a drawback. The staff provided flowers, balloons, and even upgraded me to a jacuzzi room for my birthday, which was a lovely touch.
Rooms
6.0
The rooms had a strong smell of cigarettes upon entering, and there was only one pillow per person on the bed, which was a bit lacking. However, the large clothes closet seemed out of place and threw off the room's balance.
Service
5.0
The security and night staff were not very attentive and even caused an unnecessary altercation that led to restrictions on my stay. On the other hand, the birthday surprises and room upgrade provided by the staff were genuinely thoughtful.
Location
7.0
The hotel's proximity to the subway and various attractions in Brooklyn, like Prospect Park and Park Slope's shops and restaurants, was unbeatable. However, the foul odor and bad check-in experience tainted the otherwise excellent location.
Dining
7.0
The breakfast area was open, but it lacked variety, which was a bit disappointing.
Facilities
8.0
The hotel offers on-site parking and various services like room service, dry cleaning, and tours assistance.

I found the hotel to have a convenient location, but the service was a bit of a letdown. The dining options were limited, although the rooms were comfortable. The overall value for money was decent, but improvements could be made.
Rooms
7.0
My room was right next to the breakfast area, and despite being occupied, it had what was supposed to be a king-size bed. I left for the night feeling satisfied with the comfort.
Service
5.0
I encountered mixed experiences with the service. While the front desk staff were helpful and friendly, other staff members were very unfriendly and rude, especially when starting to clean rooms early in the morning and knocking on my door.
Location
8.0
The hotel's location was great, with the R subway station right on the corner. It was in a good area for BBQ food lovers and had the convenience of on-property parking.
Dining
6.0
The dining experience was passable, but there were coordination issues between housekeeping and the front desk for room availability. I missed breakfast due to earlier timing than expected.
